Voice and images

Yes to both. This is where AI stops feeling like a search engine and starts feeling like a companion.

Voice

Open the ChatGPT mobile app and tap the headphones icon. You can have a real spoken conversation — interrupt it, change topics, ask follow-ups, all out loud. Wonderful while driving, walking, or cooking.

Images you upload

Take a photo of a recipe in another language, a confusing error message on your computer, a strange bug in your garden, a tag on an unfamiliar plant, or a math problem your kid is stuck on. Drag the photo into the chat and ask about it. It will see and respond.

Images it makes

Most of the major tools can generate pictures from a description. Useful for invitations, kids' projects, or just play.
