MCP & connecting AI to your stuff
"What is MCP and why does it matter?"
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a new standard that lets AI assistants safely plug into the apps and data you already use — your calendar, your files, your company's database, your design tool.
Before MCP, every AI app needed a custom integration for every other app. With MCP, any compliant AI can talk to any compliant tool, the same way any USB device works in any USB port.
Why it matters to you
The gap between *"AI that talks"* and *"AI that does"* is closing fast. The next year of AI improvements won't mostly be about smarter models — it will be about AI that can finally reach into your life and act.
You don't need to set this up today. You just need to know the word when you start hearing it everywhere.
