What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want in plain English and letting AI write the code. You're the director; the AI is the crew.

You don't need to know JavaScript or Python. You need to know what you want, be able to describe it clearly, and be willing to test, react, and refine.

What people are building

• Personal websites and portfolios
• Internal tools for their small business
• Simple apps for tracking, planning, or learning
• Prototypes to show a developer "make it like this"

• Lovable — describe an app, watch it build itself (this app was built in Lovable).
• Cursor — for people who want to peek at the code.
• v0 — Vercel's UI generator.
• Bolt — similar to Lovable.
