How to talk to it
"Are there magic words?"
No magic words. No secret syntax. You don't have to be polite, or rude, or formal. You just have to be specific.
Vague vs. clear
"Write me an email about the meeting."
vs.
"I'm a project manager. Write a friendly two-paragraph email to my team confirming Thursday's 2pm planning meeting, reminding them to bring updated estimates, and thanking them for last week's effort."
Same task. Wildly different result.
The three-part recipe
1. Context — who you are, what the situation is. 2. Task — what you want it to do. 3. Format — how you want the answer (a list? an email? three sentences?).
That's it. If your answer disappoints you, almost always the fix is: *add more context, or specify the format.*
